Home was recently updated with granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances and two newly redesigned bathrooms. With an open floor plan this cottage home will welcome everyone in your group.

Unfortunately, due to insurance reasons the boat and jet ski are not available to guest. However, there is a boat launch 1 mile from the house if guests would like to bring their own.
Morrow Mountain State Park - Located in Stanly County only 10 miles away, Morrow Mountain State Park provides a myriad of adventures from the summit of the namesake mountain, along the banks of the Yadkin River State Trail, and to the shores of Lake Tillery. The mountain is a study in geologic wonder with Native American artifacts made of rhyodacite to argillite mined by the Civilian Conservation Corps to create many of the park's structures

This was a sweet lake home. We loved the big windows and views. The master bedroom is spacious, airy and has a wonderful private deck. The kids loved the games available. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. Though one neighbor was quite close, the spaces still felt private. This was Fourth of July weekend so there was a lot of boat traffic. It did come pretty close because the higher point on the bridge is nearish to the dock. It wasn’t an issue for us. We spent hours swimming off the dock. There is not tons of outdoor shade, but you can find some spaces. We highly recommend this spot.

This house was perfect for our family vacation! The house was clean, cozy, and had lots of board games for evening family time. The dock was perfect for the kids to play on and the upstairs balcony was great for a morning coffee with beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend this house!

We were delighted to see that more than adequate supplies were available for us when we arrived. This part of the lake is so peaceful, and views are outstanding. Just a note to boat owners, if you bring your boat there is an area under the train tracks to get to the other side of the lake. Thank you to the owners for sharing this beautiful home.

My sisters and cousins were in town for a family reunion. There was plenty of space for all 7 of us to sleep and relax around the house. The kitchen was well stocked. There were games to play. Sitting on any of the decks at any time of the day was pleasant but...oh that sunset! We had a horrendous storm come through and had to contact the owner. He was very responsive and only concerned about our safety. I would definitely return and highly recommend this home.

Peaceful retreat- well equipped- great communication from owners. The view out back was amazing from sun up to sun down! Tons of room to spread out, shuffleboard was a fun activity and the hammock is extremely inviting!

We decided to go to the lake during a tropical weather system on Memorial Day 2023 and the weather kept us inside the entire weekend. The beautiful house and all the amenities kept us all entertained and would absolutely recommend this as a vacation spot.

The cottage was exactly what our family needed for our getaway! Check in was seamless, cottage was so clean and bright. They had every amenity we needed for our stay. The view from each one of the decks (5 total) was amazing and unobstructed! I’m can tell the hosts thought about each detail for our stay. It was so very cozy and comfortable. Spent 3 wonderful nights here with family of 6. Cottage is amazingly appointed, clean and updated. The lower sun room has darts and shuffle board with wonderful views of the lake. We watched 3 amazing sunsets over the lake and Uwharrie NF from a beautiful 3 tiered deck. The dock is located right on the lake for easy access to swimming floating and kayaking. Highly recommend this beautiful home for your lake getaway.
We were looking for a great place for our family to gather to celebrate our mom's 85th birthday and this was PERFECT. The room closest to the lake has a great view of the lake, perfect table for playing board games (or mahjong, in our case), and darts for the kids. We also caught a catfish off the dock! We'll definitely consider it for future visits!
